Jaime Pressly’s most well-known gig at the moment is as Joy Darville (nee Hickey) on TV’s “My Name Is Earl”. It’s a mainstream hit, and she’s even won an Emmy Award for it. Her movie career is a mixed bag, with the usual B-movies and small roles at the start, leading up to bigger parts in significantly more well-marketed fare, although mostly still in either the genre of comedy or action.

I like the B-movie beginning myself, mostly for the nudity these R-rated straight-to-video clunkers put in, just for the lonely sci-fi geeks looking for some T&A that make up a large part of their core audience. Still, watching a Jaime Pressly film is nothing if not entertaining, whether you’re watching her ham it up with her redneck accent, like in “Joe Dirt” or kick ass with her redneck accent like in “DOA: Dead or Alive”.
